Lasvit glassmaking art within the meditative interior
Lasvit glassmaking art within the meditative interior of House Oskar. A dialogue of Czech glass, Baroque nods, and a seven-meter vaulted ceiling captured for the brand's new catalogue.
The new catalogue for Lasvit centers on a visual dialogue between precision glass craftsmanship and architecture steeped in genius loci. The brand's iconic lighting collections were placed within the sanctuary-like interior of House Oskar in South Bohemia, designed by architect Jan Žaloudek.
Set on a historic plot with the remains of a Baroque barn, the home seamlessly connects traditional rural forms with contemporary minimalism. At its heart lies a soaring seven-meter vaulted space lined with smooth white stucco and a granite island echoing a church altar. Within this ethereal, light-filled atmosphere, Lasvit's glass sculptures reveal their full architectural presence, interacting with daylight across the curved surfaces.
